American Pie is a welcome reprieve from the cardboard crusts and terrible tomato sauces of certain chain pizzerias. I definitely recommend this place for your pizza needs.
About 90% of the staff there greets me happily, which is remarkably high. The seating can be a bit cramped at times, but I think the food is best enjoyed with Netflix and an ottoman anyway. I haven't tried the frozen yogurt yet, but they offer many different flavors that are always very enticing.
Time and time again, I have proven to my cousins that the pizza from American Pie is far superior to that of their favorite pizza place in town. You can taste the effort and stress that go into each pie, and though it may sound gross, it's actually very palatable and rewarding.
Their pizza is one of the best out in the Hamptons. It is always fresh and their gelato is amazing. The staff is very friendly as well. Highly recommend going here :)

High quality ingredients and people who really care about making good food make this my favorite pizza place.
But Greek salad of iceberg lettuce very inauthentic disappointing and also small portion. Tomato at this point in the season should have been much much better...
For those who lack restraint, it would be very easy to go broke in this place. The varieties of pizza are plentiful, and the ones I've eaten so far have all been excellent. The Chicken Bacon Ranch and the Pastrami & Provolone are my favorites of all the specialty pies. On days I'm feeling less adventurous, I tend to go with sausage and extra cheese slices. Those are great as well, not least of all because they actually slice the sausage meat instead of using those balled up pig droppings commonly found on lesser pizzas.
